Who we are

We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact us at info@demireisen.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you enter: your name, company (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the service and project stage you select, your message and the language you used. To protect the form from abuse we also keep a short-lived, hashed identifier derived from your connection and browser type; the raw IP address is not stored. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry and to discuss the services you have asked about. The lawful basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the form free of spam. By ticking the consent box you confirm you have read this notice.
Who we share it with
Enquiries are stored on our web hosting provider's servers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom and are only seen by Demir Eisen staff. We do not sell or pass your details to third parties. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when the page opens.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a project relationship requires us to keep them longer or you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical abuse-prevention records are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, object to processing and request portability. Contact us at info@demireisen.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
